LISTED BUILDING AT THE PORT

It is a three-story listed building that originally functioned as a commercial store on the ground floor and a residence on the upper floor. Later, it housed offices of a shipping company and then functions of the port’s red light district before falling into complete abandonment. In 1996, it was restored to its original typology for use as an architectural office. The facade of the building was preserved, and its interior layout was maintained. It was equipped with specially designed furniture and lighting. It is worth seeing because it is one of the few buildings in old Thessaloniki that was saved from the 1917 fire and remains unchanged in its new use.
