CHURCH OF AGIA AIKATERINI

The church was founded in the late 13th to early 14th century AD and appears to have incorporated an older structure. It belongs to the type of complex cross-in-square church with four columns, featuring a surrounding portico and five domes on the upper structure. It served as the katholikon (main church) of a monastery, though its precise identification remains open to research. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Monument.
