CHURCH OF AGIOI APOSTOLOI
The church belongs to the type of a cross-in-square church with four columns, featuring five domes, a narthex, and a surrounding portico. It was the main church of a monastery dedicated to the Virgin Mary. It was built between 1310-1314 by Patriarch Niphon I of Constantinople. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Monument.
