It dates back to the late 13th century. It belongs to the type of complex four-column cross-in-square church, featuring a narthex and an exterior portico (peristyle). Two small domes once existed in the peristyle, and another one in the narthex. Research into the identification of the church remains ongoing. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Monument.
