The Toumba Stadium was built in 1958. In 2003-2004, as part of the Olympic Games, it was used as an Olympic training space and therefore upgrading works were carried out, some of them being the administration building and the canopy that were erected. Since 2013 it is in the process of radical renovation-upgrading of the facilities.
